In the past it would have been unlikely for the general to try and approach the king on much of a personal level, as really he wouldn't have felt it his place to do so, but... Given that over the span of time he's spent so far in service under the other, the snowy haired male felt they were at least close enough to permit for him to do something about easing the stress that the raven haired male had been feeling as of late. So after learning of the other's plans to clear his schedule for the next few days, he went about planning at least a little something for today. Setting said plan into motion after allowing the king a good amount of the morning for some extra rest.
Stepping out of his own room and heading down the hall, his visible blue orb landed on the maid that currently stood with her breakfast cart outside the king's door, striding over quietly he then spoke up. "Forgive me for butting into your work, but I remember my companion mentioning the other day that she wanted some help this morning with making some adjustments to her closet... Could you be a dear and help her with that?" requesting this in a soft tone, he followed it up with mention of taking care of the food cart after the question was raised. There was a moment of consideration of course, but he was glad that in the end, he was trusted enough for the maid to simply leave the cart to him.
Having caught on by now that the earlier knocks likely didn't disturb Azazel in the slightest, he simply went ahead with quietly heading into the room, pausing for just a moment to lock the door (if only for the promise of further privacy than anything else) before continuing on. Bringing the cart over to the bedside, Gav then sat upon some of the empty bed space, observing the lump of sheets for a few moments before reaching over, placing his hand upon Azazel's back and stroking it a bit. "I know it's a bit selfish of me to disturb your rest, but I hope you aren't too upset with that." his tone remained soft this time as well, as he then leaned just a bit to reach the cart and pour the other a cup of tea, a soft hum moving through him as he did so.
